Recently received as a housewarming gift. I had no idea such a thing even existed so it was a real surprise when I got it. I have to admit I wasn't thrilled because I didn't understand what it was. But now I understand that this is one of the most precious gifts we have received. As a new homeowner, we have found that we have many documents that we want to keep safe. We don't have room for a large, heavy, fireproof safe. It's perfect, we can put our files in it like a traditional file box so we can organize them. We also have the added benefit and reassurance of knowing these items are safe in the event of a fire. We keep them on a shelf in our closet for frequent access to remove and add files as needed. But also so that we can catch it if necessary. It has carrying straps that make it easy to put on and take off the shelf. It also has great reflective strips so we'll probably be able to find it a lot easier in the dark in an emergency. Honestly, this is one of the most valuable gifts that we never thought we would need. I'm excited to not only have this for myself, but to give as gifts for other housewarming or wedding gifts in the future.
