Review on Cuisinox FON 99 Elite Fondue Burner by Tom Beland

Item was delivered quickly and the company provided a working tracking number which is nice. In addition, this item fits perfectly with my Le Creuset fondue pot, which I was also very satisfied with. Unfortunately, the quality of this product leaves a lot to be desired. In particular, the top and bottom of the main body are hardly aligned. Also, these two parts and the cover looked like they had been stamped by the most disgruntled and incompetent worker in a third-rate sweatshop in the third world. Nobody bothered to polish the damn thing! Luckily I only needed the core. Consequently, I swapped out the burner core that came with my fondue pot and threw the rest of the burner I ordered straight into the bin. I am happy that I can make fondue again without hesitation. However, I think the $34.25 I paid (including shipping) for a burner replacement was nothing more than a robbery down the road. This item costs, TOPS, five dollars. If you can find a burner elsewhere, go ahead!
