The device has worked perfectly for more than 8 months, but very often boiled over very loudly. The keep-warm function is clearly not enough. When the temperature drops, which it often does, the unit goes into cooking mode and you can hear it simmering again. Also, there is metal buildup on the heating element in the center, which I think is unhealthy. NOW HAIRS ON THE LID TORN AND BEGINNING TO LEAK SO IT IS NO LONGER USABLE. I EMAILED AND CALL/LEAVE VM'S WARRANTY DEPARTMENT BUT NO RESPONSE AT ALL AND RESPONSE AFTER A VERY LONG TIME VERY VERY SLOWLY. PHONE SUPPORT DOES NOT ANSWER AT ALL! DISSATISFIED!
