Review on ViewSonic VX2485-MHU 1080P Frameless Monitor 60Hz with Built-In Speakers, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, IPS by Ellis Baker

I got the Wirecutter recommended vx 2485 mhu monitor to use with my MacBook Pro because I liked the idea of a single USB-C cable to charge and connect. I also purchased a Belkin USB-C cable, which was recommended elsewhere. Will not work. Several long calls to Belkin support, after which they sent me a new cable. Good thing I bought the cable from Revain. The new cable worked for a few seconds, then stopped working. A lot of troubleshooting followed, and I finally found that if I unplugged and plugged the monitor back in every time I used it with MBP, the monitor would work with my Mac Book Pro. Little effort, but it works.
