These stepper motors worked very well in my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Only two engines failed, but given the cost of that replacement, why not all six? Be sure to have a suction cup handy for soldering old motors; Wick is not that user friendly. I also had three indicator bulbs blown, so bonus points for including them in this pack. The original bulbs aren't all that bright to begin with, but the bulbs in this kit match their wattage very well. I found out which bulbs needed replacing by checking the polarity on old bulbs with a benchtop power supply. You could probably tell this with a 9 volt battery and some wires. The ones in the white area of the board light up at the same time, so you only have to touch the leads of one of those lights to tell which ones are bad. Check out other idiot lightbulbs one by one. In general, the engines were not difficult to replace. The lamps were a bit finicky to fit into the holders on the board, but not too much. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone with basic mechanical and soldering skills for instrument cluster repairs.
