The SWOPT system allows you to get various handles and various heads and easily replace the heads as needed. I know they offer this push broom as well as an angle broom, a dust mop and a dust pan. The handles come in either wood or steel and in 4 foot or 5 foot lengths. Each head will fit any of the handles. The head attaches to the handle very firmly with a snap closure and stays attached until you want to attach a different head. There is no problem with the head coming unscrewed as often happens with cheap brooms. I use the push broom outdoors so I think I will switch to the steel handle for longevity.
