DO NOT BUY THIS CHARACTER

I bought it on 12/31/2019. I assembled it in mid-January and finally started using it for several hours a day almost every day. Just this morning (June 21, 2020) my roommate asked me what happened to my chair. I looked under the seat and saw that the metal support arm that automatically adjusts the lumbar support was broken in half. Check out the picture I've attached to this review. When assembling the chair, I even felt as if there was a slight pressure on that thin crossbar. I have no idea when this happened because I wasn't sitting in the chair when the bracket broke in half. As far as I know, this happened in the middle of the night a few months ago. I noticed that the lumbar support wasn't what it was, but figured it was just "breaking", not completely broken in half. Along with the poor construction of the lumbar support, the chair creaks horribly and the "leather" sucks. It literally started falling off within a month of using it. DO NOT buy this chair unless you want to throw your money away on something that is total rubbish! UPDATE JULY 24, 2020 Revain has accepted a return for a full refund but it was quite a hassle. . Even though it was broken they demanded that I send it back and I didn't have the box anymore. I offered to ship it to the local Revain warehouse in Twin Cities or Kohls. They insisted that I send it. I had to ship it in 3 separate boxes and have it delivered to UPS. When I asked them about the guarantee, they said that the guarantee only applies to the initial return period, which is only about 30 days. I questioned the legality and they said the warranty covers a replacement after the original return period. After years of frustrating cheap office chairs, I finally bought an open box of Herman Miller Aeron from Revain's inventory. I bought a $1400 chair for $900. money well spent. I'm getting to the point that buying everything once is better than trying to find the perfect office chair for less, changing it every two years and dealing with a frustrating returns process.
