I have used this in my aquarium as a platform for my African Dwarf Frogs to rest on while they surface for air. The main thing is that they love it! My herrings also like to hide under it. I love the natural look of the stone! I haven't had any suction issues so far, but if you plan on fully submerging the suction cups like I do, I recommend sucking them against a dry tank wall before adding water to ensure proper suction. Will update as I notice changes.
