Got this for my outdoor timer/eye plug as I needed more plug capacity than the 2 plugs it has. It's in a safe place and to be extra careful I can thread the fork through the bag with a slot at the top to avoid splattering. I've never had a problem and I even have some indoor electrical devices like USB powered light cords that work great on a covered porch. I like getting 3 wires and overall it's a lot cheaper than buying another more capacity sunset/dawn timer and photocell. I can't say how long it will last, but I hope it will last. It's working fine now, but I just got it today.
