I bought these in the grey color because the black were not available in my size AND the grey looked like a charcoal color. As you can see in my picture, these are not a charcoal grey at all.There is a black shirt, a charcoal grey shirt, and then my white & grey bedding (Revain brand) next to the grey boot. These are certainly more of a slate color than a charcoal color.I'm debating whether I want to keep the boots or send them back now since the color is not what I expected.Otherwise, I normally wear a 7.5 in women's shoes and my feet are chubby (not wide but definitely not narrow) and the 7.5 in these boots fits perfectly. However, if you have thicker calves, these most likely won't fit. These boots are tight on my calves and I can wear most tall boots without issues.There is also not support or even really any padding in the sole/footbed area.
