Most reviews were very positive. who knew a few bad reviews were actually a reality in this situation. Less than expected? Absolutely. cooling option? absent, almost none. It's pretty much a small fan that makes a decent noise that adds a bit of water mist as it blows, making the air barely noticeably cooler. I wasn't expecting it to cool a large room by any means, but I was hoping, at least when I was sitting at my desk or on my bed, that it would do more comfort (cooling the air in a small area) than any other fan breeze would. Very disappointing. To be honest, the price is really high. Maybe $25.
