I bought this pillow for 2 reasons. 1) I had problems with my back and no matter what pillow I put on it always bounced between my legs and knees. 2) I had upcoming stomach surgery and trying to sleep on my side after such surgery is difficult. When I stumbled upon it, it looks like it will fit my needs. It has! The J-shaped pillow really hugs your body and offers soft, great support. The end of the J on one side fits perfectly between my legs, and depending on how low or high I want to pull the J up where the back end presses against my butt, or lower it down to my hips. He will stay with me all night. Since then I have had no more back problems. As I tucked the top of the J under my neck, which flexed just enough to wrap my arms around it, I was able to lie on my side a bit post-op. It provided just enough support to not only rest on the pillow that kept me off the bed, but also made it comfortable enough to feel like I was completely on my side when I wasn't. After two weeks I can lie more comfortably on my side and snuggle more around the pillow. The cover is easy to open, wash and mostly put back on the pillow. I struggle with it a bit, but my arm strength has always been weak. I would have preferred a color option other than white, but that's really the only complaint I have and it won't stop me from buying another.
