The tool offers you an easy way to get access to all your customer's data from any app or website, even if it isn't in our own CRM system. It provides us with actionable intelligence that helps drive sales and marketing decisions for our organization. I would say that there might be some lag time between when we submit a request, and when we receive results back, but this can vary depending upon what type of requests you send through DataSmart. You will need to provide them with the correct URL/website (or other applicable source) so they know how best to pull information about your customers. If you're looking to add additional channels like social media, then yes - you'll need to do extra work because Datasmart doesn't offer those options out-of-the box. However once you've added these sources / pages Data Smart does create a dashboard where you can see which page has been viewed by each of your contacts.
