my daughter is 18 months old and she is in the process of folding and adjusting small plates to big ones. That's why I thought about getting them. I remember something similar from my childhood. The best thing about this toy is that it matches the details not only in shape but also in color and texture which is very educational. My daughter can't put all the pieces together but likes to try it out. The only downside I found is that the flap door that opens to dump the collected parts is very easy to open. So your little one may be more focused on dropping and filling than putting pieces in the right holes. I know she will enjoy learning with this toy as she gets older.
