I've been using these cheap plastic bowls from the dollar store for a long time. These are the ones that will stain from just about anything you use them for, especially pasta sauces. I used to not want to spend too much money on bowls because my kids were so rude and kept breaking "unbreakable" bowls. Now that they are older I can finally try to buy better bowls. When researching, I was picky about the type of bowls because there were certain things they should have or do. My must-have list was durable, stain-resistant, 100% BPA-free, microwave and dishwasher safe. These bowls fit 100%. They can even be stored in the fridge and oven. That was the first time I saw wheat straw bowls. I really like that they are light and the colors are so cute. I was in shock preparing the oatmeal and the plate wasn't even hot when I took it out of the microwave. Wow, so great! They are very durable. Of course I accidentally dropped one and they are really shatterproof, not a single scratch or tear. BUT the BEST part is that they are resistant to pasta sauce stains! They are easy to wash and don't rub off. Hallelujah! This is my new version of Bowls. We like them so much that I'm going to buy a couple of plates to go with them.
