I am very happy with this product, it has been working great for me so far! It is simple to use as well - just add water or vinegar in your tank once you have an established colony of fish that are eating their way through any waste material (like leaves). The system works by creating more ammonia which helps break down organic matter such as plant debris in addition to providing food for beneficial bacteria/fungi like mycorrhizae fungi. This process also creates nitrite from nitrogenous wastes produced during digestion thus making sure we don't end up having too much free available oxygen while decomposing our plants' residues at least not until they get decomposed enough.
