UPDATE: I lied! I was wrong. I just didn't know how to use it. There is a button underneath the device that turns off when nothing happens (e.g. when you pick it up off the floor). This is actually a very clever design, probably to prevent fires. I wanted to go back and update this but wish I could just bypass it. This is actually a wonderful heater and now that you've had it for over 4 months (maybe longer) I can REALLY say it's worth it! It keeps my room warm, it's energy efficient, it has safety measures in place, and I've kicked this thing over a million times but it keeps ticking! So I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 5. And I apologize to everyone I offended. from buying it. MY MISTAKE! This piece of shit only worked for a day or two. I'm freezing right now. And this GARBAGE flew out. Of course I come back to read the negative reviews and every negative review is for the same reason. I am angry! It is impractical to send this scrap back. I'm cold and now I have to suffer longer. It was a rip off and they really shouldn't even have five stars!
