This is a great storage solution for my art supplies. It connected easily with some force from a rubber mallet. But if the tube holders weren't so tight, it wouldn't be strong, and it is strong. I like that the boxes are open. When I want to close it, I just close the lid. Some say there were no written instructions. I don't know how much clearer A to B to C could be with a clear chart. All bags were clearly marked with letters for parts. It will not prevent a child from climbing on it. This is not a toy chest or dresser for a baby. I filled the top shelf with paints, markers, pens, pencils and glue. I'm going to put special paper in the second tier part and I just haven't decided what to fill the bottom row with. Trust me when I say there are many different sewing, paper, fabric, and metal binders to fill. This holds no more than 20 pounds per shelf.
