Works great as my first replacement lamp on my Optoma HD26 (original lamp lasted 2600 hours). This is just an onion suggestion. Don't make the same mistake I did and order "Bulb Only" if you also need a replacement housing. Always check the integrity of the lamp housing before ordering. Additionally, if your projector is ceiling mounted, I would recommend removing it to replace the lamp. I didn't (of course) and was met with a shower of broken glass when attempting to remove the original case to replace the bulb. [The manual actually states so, so I suspect the broken case glass is somewhat typical of the HD26] UPDATE: We use our projector, our main "TV", quite heavily, but this lamp only has about 6 months on held, which is very disappointing. .
