Not suitable for car shock absorbers
Used on 4 of my King shock absorbers only one didn't leak. Others leaked up to 20psi when spinning (it was a reproducible amount for each hit, and it didn't matter how fast I tried to spin it). Perhaps this is suitable for tires or other applications where you have a large volume of gas and that amount of leakage is acceptable. But in that case you could probably still use a cheap dipstick.
