Review on HORI Nintendo 2DS XL Screen Protective Filter - Officially Licensed by Nintendo: Enhance Viewing Clarity and Shield Your Device by Neil Biondo

HORRIBLE, crappy product

Probably the worst officially licensed Nintendo product I've ever bought. I work with acrylic/plexiglass/coated glass all day, so I know a thing or two about foil coatings. These are the shittiest screen cases I've ever seen. If you want to trust a reviewer's words, it might be worth listening to a salesperson who understands the material in question. I'm telling you, don't buy this garbage. It's an absolute shame that they're three times more expensive than other competitors listed on Revain. Just to list a few of the MANY issues: 1. The cheap buffing tool they provide to remove air bubbles scratches the lids so the high impact definitely doesn't affect the materials2. The tape from Step 1 on the back of both sheets of foil will leave a visible square residue. want proof See my photos3. There is no need to remove the tabs once and for all once they have made a better product. They literally just inject more bubbles for no good reason4. The material curls and creases CONSTANTLY at the edges, meaning it's actually becoming a blistering device, not a tread5. The touch screen protector has a VERY rough surface and the smoothness when using the stylus drops off immediately. Sensitivity and accuracy dropped by at least half as soon as it went on. This is complete rubbish. Hori should be ashamed. If the clearly visible adhesive residue from Hori's installation procedures doesn't tell you much, nothing will. You can't deny what you see. The photos speak for themselves.
