This is my cat's hit. She took it out of Revane's box and of course jumped into the box. As soon as she saw a butterfly at a spring, she would go crazy playing with it. I put together a scraper box (so easy) and put some catnip on top and then put a butterfly quill in it. She immediately started scratching and rubbing her face on the scratched area and continued to play with it for over 30 minutes. The box will slide on a hardwood floor or carpet once turned over - I will put non-slip pads on the bottom to reduce this problem. It looks like you can put a spare scraper in the box, which I wasn't expecting. It was a great purchase, an inexpensive toy that she loves. UPDATE: This thing breaks pretty quickly. Scraps of cardboard everywhere! But you can flip the part they're scratching so it does double duty. When both sides are worn out, the cardboard scraper can be refilled. A few months later the frame is still great.
