Size 1 inch fits my 1996 Honda Shadow Ace 1100 (VT1100). Yes, it looks like a cheap metal pan, but it matches the steering wheel, the mirror still works. as it should be. It's for the clutch side and the mirror thread was right. However, since both mounts share the same tap, I'm not sure if this will work on the front brake side. It's not needed there and I'm not checking it, just a guess. However, that would not be good. However, I am happy with this solution. I'm planning to replace the original bracket but it's a good temporary fix.
