My original 1.5 cup mini chopper was almost 20 years old, made in USA, B&D, sturdy plastic construction, used a lot but due to my clumsiness it eventually died in a fall otherwise it could still its functional. I actually knew better, especially after reading customer reviews, but didn't take the time to research enough mini choppers and bought another 1.5 cups with a plastic bowl that became opaque after the first wash and cracked after 2 months. Will continue to use but vowed never to buy a plastic mini chopper again. Further research showed that I couldn't find a 1.5 cup grinder with a GLASS bowl and was initially afraid of getting a larger size due to the limited kitchen cabinets/space. Then I found this mini 2.5 cup Kochbelle chopper/processor! It's so well made and compact that it's a pleasant surprise. Without a doubt, this is the best kitchen appliance purchase I've made in a long time. It is: wireless and portable - charges relatively quickly and lasts at least 3 days on the same charge with remaining power (in my experience) Use: amazing! I've used it for onions, garlic, herbs, large cat food (for older kittens), whatever works, I'm testing. It's very fast - within seconds, the three-blade design shreds the items I've listed. I might do a few quick pulses if that's a lot and done. The blades are very sharp and they will handle thicker items than me. The 2-piece blade system is easy to clean, along with a great glass bowl (!) that comes with a removable "pad" that fits into the bottom of the glass bowl (outside) to capture the available area. A specially sized spatula is included, and the USB-powered station, which serves as a portable power source and sits atop the bowl, requires no maintenance other than perhaps an occasional wipe down with a soft cloth. What can't please?! Such a refreshing, practical, simple and productive device whose features have exceeded all my expectations. I urge anyone who's fed up with splurging on 1.5 cup plastic mini grinders that last a few months, if you're lucky add some extra cash and buy this gem you will not be disappointed if with relief. have a well made, durable, easy to use and clean, compact unit. In fact, I thought the price was pretty reasonable, especially compared to the money wasted on these "other" things. I believe it was a $10 increase in the cost of plastic, a wise investment in a quality product. Delivered as promised, well packaged and protected. (USB cable and spatula included). I am a very satisfied buyer and would definitely recommend this item and seller.
