Easy to assemble. I'm completely incompetent at assembly and put it together in half an hour using the Allen key that came with it. After tightening all the screws it doesn't even wobble and it's beautiful. At first I thought the drawing was drawn on glass. But that's not the case, it's a thin metal tabletop with glass on top. The color is a bit unremarkable. It appears to have been painted greyish and then applied in a brownish tint to give it a bronzed patina. I have it on an oriental rug in brown, beige, tan, gray and light blue. It actually matches the blue on the carpet and also matches my brown sofas. It's just wonderful.
