My husband has several watches in his collection, which he constantly sorts through. Many of them have leather straps that get a bit uncomfortable in warm weather. I asked him to try the Bandini 22mm silicone strap on one of his large sports watches. In general, he really liked this Bandini group. He said the strap was perfect for his watch, which had a 22mm lug width. He was particularly impressed that this thick, durable and waterproof silicone strap stays so soft and comfortable on his wrist. He said it would be his warm-weather strap for his large watch, which is too heavy for the nylon NATO strap. My husband also noticed that the visible blue stitching on the strap worked great as an accent color and matched the blue dial of his watch very well. In addition to blue, this Bandini stripe comes in other color variations such as white, black, red and orange. My husband also liked the sporty look of the perforation of this tape. It already has a traditional rally watch leather strap with three large holes on each side. It also has a perforated vintage rubber tropical watch strap. He said that this Bandini GT Rally group has a unique look. He found only a few disadvantages in this group. It was a bit difficult at first to slide the spring bars through the strap's spring bar holes. While the strap came packaged with a pair of 22mm spring bars, I wish they were pre-seated or equipped with quick-release spring bars. The second minus was more of a stylistic criticism, since he wanted to narrow down the group. The width of the strap is 22mm from the end of the eyelet to the end of the clasp. My husband said the tapered straps on his watches often look more finished. He said if this Bandini stripe was tapered to 20mm at the end of the buckle it would be perfect. Apart from these relatively small minuses, he really liked this Bandini group. Also, the strap is reasonably priced so he can get some other color variations for his other watches.
