Have used a different brand for five years. I decided to give it a try. That's half the cost. I was shocked. It takes twice as many batteries which made it more powerful and it doesn't hurt or pull my hair like the previous one. I LOVE IT! Update: While I still love this one, it opens best, the lid comes off so easily I broke 3 of these because the blade base fell on the floor. I really wish they had made a tighter lid for it.
