Review on Exquisite ArtsEye Peony Collection: Embossed Genuine Leather Zip Purse in Eye-catching Orange by Liz Smith

This is a review of the Peony Art's Eye zip wallet. I've downsized my wallet and needed a smaller, thinner wallet that can keep my checkbook, cards, receipts, and cash/change organized. I also wanted something unique and pretty (but not too cute) that wouldn't cost a fortune. In my opinion, this is achieved with the Art's Eye line. It was hard to decide which was nicer. This wallet has a lot of dividers and compartments so things are pretty well separated and I know where to find them quickly. Paper money stays flat while coins are in a separate zip pocket. The wallet looks well built and the outside zip is solid with a good chain so you can always find it and use it to quickly open and close your wallet (didn't want to be one of those people who fiddle with their wallet and slow things in queues). The strap is thankfully detachable, and while it's useful, I really wish it was the same material as the wallet's appearance so it doesn't stand out as much. That would look cooler in my opinion. But that's really a small detail. Personally, I also wish it had D-rings on either side and a shoulder strap for full hands-free use. The inside is partly made of the same pink material (vinyl?) as the strap and thin canvas material. Seems there might have been a cost saving here, but the interior is very well made, so I don't mind that it's not leather given the wallet's reasonable cost. Because the wallet has rounded corners of the zipper (as befits quick opening and closing), it can sometimes be a little tricky to pull the card out, but I've perfected a simple one-handed card-gripping technique to pull it out. and holds the zipper of the other, and at the same time it works perfectly. You will get used to it too. Finally, sometimes the zipper of the coin pocket turns sideways, making the wallet not close as well or making the zipper harder to grab. Maybe that inner zip just needs a jump ring, but that's no big deal, just a minor functional annoyance. Overall I am very happy with the look and feel of this wallet!
