I chose these sheets for their color as it matches the tones of my bedroom. The pillowcases are shaped like an envelope, with one end tucked under the other at the opening, and the 1" (2.5cm) trim is rather unobtrusive. The top sheet continues this design with the same 1 inch edging at the top where you flip it, which isn't as good as the 3 inches that sheets usually style. The beetle-like alligator logo on the cases is scary at first, but now I don't notice it anymore. They wrinkle a little but not much and are typical of cotton. Overall, they're crisp, nicely made and I'd say medium thickness. You might not care how they chose to flip the top sheet down, which feels a bit skimpy. But I'm glad to have them because of the beautiful color.
