1. Shelves are fitted with the edge up. This was not mentioned in the description. At first I thought the brackets were too big, but then I found that the hole in the shelf was larger on one side.2. The poles are pressed against each other, not screwed. You can't just push them together either. That means I'll need a rubber mallet and might have to bend the rod to connect them together. The shelves were thin. It's impossible to hold more than a few pounds on a shelf without bending and warping. Maybe I could live with 1 and 3, but 2 was a deal breaker. This is bad shelf design. When I saw that the sticks didn't slide together, I put them back in the box and filled out the Revain declaration. If so, the poles are bad.
