This blanket was on my adult daughter Revane's Christmas wish list so I bought it for her because it looked so inviting. I was a bit shocked when it arrived because it was shrink wrapped and in a sturdy clear vinyl sleeve that formed around the comforter when all the air was removed to flatten it (I guess) for shipping . I toyed with the idea of not opening it and just wrapping it up for my daughter to worship at Christmas. But my practicality (and curiosity) got the better of me because, I thought, what if it really wasn't as chic and cute as I wanted her to be? So I opened it. I loved its thickness and softness and I wrapped it up for my daughter and she was delighted when she opened it for Christmas. She is enjoying this cold evening very much. This is a good blanket - nice, soft, durable but not heavy, and just the right size to stay toasted while lounging.
