This works well. I just got this to have a cheap meat grinder in the office. It makes about 16-20 ounces of pour over coffee (at least the way I brew it). It takes some time to sand it by hand, but I just consider it practice. Nothing superfluous. One thing I didn't understand is that the handle just slides over the grinder without locking. I thought that might be a problem, but it really isn't. Good quality. I'm not worried about it breaking or anything like that and so far I haven't had any problems with it. Grinding is fine. It's not as sturdy as more expensive coffee grinders, but if you're on the go or just need something for your home or office for occasional use, I think this will fill that need well. You can spend 5-10 times more on another manual grinder but honestly I'm not sure it's worth it unless you're a big coffee connoisseur. I'm relatively picky about my coffee and I'm fine with that.
