My dad is 95 and is dependent on a walker. We were looking for something to keep his feet warm and also provide some slip protection. Although I can't rate the warmth, I assume it is good or I would have heard about it. He has given rave reviews, as has his caregiver. These socks are actually better than I had anticipated for his purpose. He also loves the compression these socks provide. Highly recommend.
