I am 5'7" and a size 12/14 generally with a 34" waist and bought an XL in this skirt. It fit wonderful without being too tight or too big. The fabric is nice and I like how the pleats are sewn down flat on the top part. It's more flattering in my opinion. Those are the pros.decent fabric for price and fit true to size chart. I also like the button closure on the side and it felt sturdy.One negative for me is that those little shorts that come under it had to be cut out. They prevented me from pulling the skirt up to my true waist. Maybe I'm long waisted. I'm not sure but they had to go. For the price, this is a great piece for any animé fan or cosplayers wardrobe.
