122 skeins worth the money - my review about it

I would like to tell my impressions about my acquaintance with this brand of floss threads. It appeared on the market not long ago and occupied its niche, since its cost differs significantly from the price of other threads (bestex is cheaper by about two other well-known brands). Why cheaper? what did the manufacturer save on? These questions are difficult to answer, but the fact that the thread really differs in quality (not for the better, that's for sure). Skilled marketers try to sell these threads, claiming that they are no worse than expensive counterparts, do not shed during washing and are also 100% cotton. But an experienced embroiderer catches the difference almost immediately: the thread frays a lot while working with it (which increases thread consumption), the shades are dull, namely, there is no that lively shine that gives the finished work a uniqueness and allows you to forget for a split second that this work is embroidered, not drawn. Just as practice has shown, after washing and starching, the threads still shed a little, which left a bitter residue. That is, when buying Bestex threads, we win in terms of money, and not in terms of quality.
