O. My. These Chaco inserts are without a doubt the best marking tools. I've tried pens, pencils, regular chalk, whatever. As if by magic, these little things fall onto the elastic and dark fabric. The small gear spins smoothly and dispenses just the right amount of chalk. I have white and yellow and both are great for marking on dark fabrics like stretch velvet. I used to be unable to mark anything properly on dark stretch velvet - thanks to them it's easy now. The tip is narrow so you can get close to a ruler or pattern paper. Under $6, they're worth the price! Did I mention I love her?
