The oven rack is unstable. I often burned my fingers.
This item is not secure. It was reasonably priced (not the cheapest) and made in America by GE, but don't buy it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't made in the USA. When frying chicken breasts, liquid collects in the pan. Instant read thermometer, I pulled the stand out just long enough to read the temp and to my horror the stand and pyrex pan fell off the rails. I was lucky that the hot juice, 450 degrees, didn't spill on me, just burned my hand.
