Review on Dell 452-BCYT D6000 Universal Dock in Black: A Hassle-free Single Solution by Cesar Carter

I've had intermittent issues with this for the past 6 months. I bought it in October 2018 and use it almost every day. It sits on my desk and has 2 monitors attached to it. and when I'm working from home, I connect and charge my laptop through the USB-C port. As for the problem, it loses power or restarts from time to time, as well as all connected USB devices and monitors. will disconnect and reconnect after a second or two. There are also times when I'm working on my laptop and the mouse or keyboard suddenly disconnects and then reconnects. It started a few months after purchase but it only happened once a day or so, not enough to really complain, enough to be a little annoying. However, it has been happening more frequently lately, fairly steadily, several times a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a minute, then everything is fine for a short time. I'm assuming it's overheating related since if it starts doing this frequently if I unplug it and leave it for a few minutes and then plug it back in it works fine for a while. close it, it's sitting outside my keyboard. It doesn't have a fan or vent, which I checked, and I've tried storing it in a few different places to avoid overheating, but it didn't matter where it was, it still flashes multiple times a day. I'm looking for a new one but I might try to order the same one again as there aren't too many other negative reviews about it, maybe I just got a badly made one.
