Overall I am very happy with these pants and would recommend them. The hand pockets could be a bit deeper, but since most waterproof pants don't even have pockets, I'm happy with that. In addition, there are two "cargo" pockets that easily fit my iPhone 7 and Google Pixel 2. The pants are about 1 1/2 inches longer, but you can secure them with Velcro for a closer fit so they don't drag. I haven't had a chance to wear them in a storm/shower but they held up well in my 20 minute shower test. My clothes underneath stayed dry and my pockets stayed dry too. These are not lightweight pants so you may feel a little warm. I'm 5'10" and 180 pounds. I have a 35" waist and wear a 32" length. The pants come with a belt which is another ++ in my book.
