I have a working studio where I produce all kinds of music from metal to hip hop. But mainly I work a lot with singing. From voice acting to working on the soundtrack. Well, my clients can be young people or big and tough. We love the Sony 7506, they work great. But… I have changed several ear pads over the years. The standards just don't fit. Then I found these and I can say they are the best I've found. And therefore. ONE. They have a large cushion which makes them very comfortable. An hour at a time feels a lot better with them than with the standard ones. TWO. Installation was easy. The support edge of the pad is larger so you can easily wrap it around the entire headpiece without having to put it in the small slot. Note: I had a young client who used them in a vocal booth for 3 hours and put them on and off multiple times and the pad didn't come off. THREE. The sound is much better. The pads are thicker, giving you more isolation from outside noise. More like noise canceling headphones. I even noticed that the sound from the headphones with the new ear pads didn't leak into the vocal mic like it did with the old ear pads. Note: Metalheads like loud headphones. I liked them so much that I rebuilt all three of my 7506s and bought some spares.
