This is not a 10 minute job

Parts fit and work well. This was the first water pump replacement on my 50hp Etech Evinrude outboard motor. 2005. But I am fortunate to have a friend who is a retired outboard mechanic. This is not a job for those who don't have a mechanical mindset. It took us at least 2 or 3 hours. My pump was badly worn and needed to be replaced. It was still pumping, but the current was weak.
