Like other reviews said, it’s not as thick as your standard jean jacket. It’s soft, though, and fits the way you would think. I ordered a couple sizes up for a baggier fit, and I like it a lot. It’s just like the pictures. I’m not sure how it would hold up in the wash, but I’d do a gentle cycle after unbuttoning each side and hang to dry just based on how soft it is.
