Review on 4 TB External HDD Seagate One Touch, USB 3.2 Gen 1, black by Wiktor Prusek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I was under the impression that it was a bigger size; the photographs and customer reviews don't make this very obvious. In point of fact, approximately the size of a man's hand. On a very old 2022 LG TV (in ntfs format), I had no difficulty getting it to start. It took me roughly six hours to transfer two terabytes of data from the previous external storage device to this one. It warmed up nicely, but not to an extreme degree. The speed was roughly 40 megabits per second. The speed is 100 megabits per second when pumping directly from a computer. It is possible to hear how it operates if it is placed close to the ear, but this is not an essential requirement. I am relieved that there is not an additional power supply available because, in the ten years that I have used my old wd, I have already had to replace three of them. 3.67 terabytes will be accessible out of the total 4 terabytes; this indicates that there will be some form of system partition. It's possible that you could delete it with the use of some type of acronis software, but since it's not a pressing issue for me right now, I'd rather not bother. The acquisition entirely satisfies the requirements. I did not purchase from a third party but rather on the market itself; delivery to the location of the problem was quick, taking only one day with a little amount of delay.

Pros
  • -compact size–the read/write speed is faster than on my previous external hard drive–there is no need for an additional power supply.
Cons
  • -3.67 TB will be accessible out of a total of 4 TB
