I've been watching these stools for months now. Most of them cost around $75 per chair. They cost less than $50 each. I was skeptical but they were stock so I took a chance. It's Amazon, you can return anything, right? So why not. I received my order as promised, which was surprising considering it was a week before Thanksgiving. Unpacking the first stool I was impressed, everything was neatly packed to avoid scratches and dents. Unpacking wasn't a chore like some products. Assembling the stool was quite easy. Got all 4 in an hour. My job required the use of power tools, so I used a screwdriver to speed up the process, but hand tightened the bolts and screws as instructed so I didn't have to clean up the holes. IF you are not used to using power tools I would suggest only using hand tools, especially screws. If they pass the Thanksgiving test I'll go back and apply some wood glue for extra strength. That being said, I'm very impressed with how durable they are even without wood glue. The leather seats look good and appear to be well put together. However, they aren't as comfortable as they seem, but that may be because they're new and the foam padding hasn't worn off yet. So far I can definitely recommend them. They deliver what was promised. beautiful, strong.
