Ordered for motorcycle helmet. The curved part was too curved for the front of my helmet, with the flat part. Pros: OEM GoPro mounts and parts are stronger than fake plastic. I'm broken enough to know. The mounts have a rubber anti-vibration/locking bushing that really works. Don't worry about the base flying off at freeway speeds due to the 3M adhesive foam. Perfect angle and height on my motorcycle helmet (HJC CL-17). Cons: Even with the increased height mount, I still couldn't find the right angle on my helmet. I had to use an extension which I wish there was a longer piece instead. However, the current 90 degree angles on the arms are fine as they are made up of two and act as one long piece. I really wish they had flush screws instead of T-screws or longer screws so you don't have to see how far from the mount. I also wish the foam on the GoPro bases with adhesive were thicker for easier mounting on slightly curved surfaces. However, this could easily have been avoided by folding the sticky foam in half and pressing it harder. I couldn't as the glue was pre-taped on all the bases and I didn't have any spares. I wanted the camera in this place and at this angle. It may require some heat for the base to soften the adhesive and peel it off to reattach with two foam pads for added security. All in all a very useful kit if you are planning to mount at helmets or other odd angles, or even if you just need a little height.
