Official GoPro Mount: Grab Bag for Enhanced Photography and Video Recording Review

I was hoping to use this as a kit to mount a GoPro camera on a motorcycle helmet but it didn't last long. This resulted in me having to mount my GoPro slightly off-centre, which annoyed me, but still worked fine.

There are two methods of attachment, one is a little more curved and the other is mostly flat, 3m tape is attached and I have used it on my 70+ mph motorcycle helmet , so by all means keep them.

A bit expensive for what you get. You get what you need and what you don't or don't need. I wish there were more buckles in the kit. In the future I will look for third party sources for this material.

I always feel better when I buy accessories for my GoPro from GoPro itself. I wanted to make sure they did what they were made for. These are good accessories to use as spares when you need to capture food from your camera.

I recently bought a 360 action camera (not GoPro) but it has a similar mounting point but won't charge dollars for use with Go Pro Quick mounts included. The 3 department stores I visited did not sell the buckle individually or as a package. This grab bag had everything I needed to get my 360 camera up and running with all GoPro mounts and it comes with a flat and curved mount.

got this to complete the mount for my helmet got what i wanted but now after 2 months of daily use, just plug in - take out the helmet, barely press the clip and be really careful each time, it just broke, like that, the clip just broke, then I realized how cheap this plastic is and what a crappy design the clip is. So you have to buy new kits here and there, it's ok, they should make money but not mine. I will never buy official GoPro gear again. I learned my lesson with the aftermarket camera

Today I used a 3 position swingarm on the bike and it helped me balance the angle on the handlebars but I had to tighten the bolts really tight, to keep it in place. For the first few minutes of my ride the bottom screw wasn't tight enough (although I tightened it before driving off) so the camera slowly drifted down and finally stopped when I noticed it and stopped to fix it. Ordered for motorcycle helmet. The curved part was too curved for the front of my helmet, with the flat part. Pros: OEM GoPro mounts and parts are stronger than fake plastic. I'm broken enough to know. The mounts have a rubber anti-vibration/locking bushing that really works. Don't worry about the base flying off at freeway speeds due to the 3M adhesive foam.
