They work but are best in hardware

Don't use them on a table where you put a lot of pressure (e.g. a table with a loose glass lid). On my husband's desk is a shard of glass hanging from two metal bars. We bought them as buffers to replace the old ones and the glue isn't the best. He used them for 1 day and 6 out of 8 we supplied have already fallen off.
