It's so clear I don't think about it
The only way to tell my Surface Book has a screen protector is by the cutout where the cameras stay open. This protection is completely transparent and in no way reduces the performance of the touchscreen when I use it. I regularly use the Surface Pen for taking notes, signing, and occasionally touching the screen instead of touching the screen, and everything was flawless with this screen. Defender.
