Extremely pretty and great for earrings but not studs

First of all I really like this jewelry cabinet and I hope it will last a long time. It sticks firmly to the wall (we just screwed it on, no plastic backings needed) and I love that it's made out of real wood. For the craftsmanship I give 7 to 8 out of 10 points. My main complaint is that the wire mesh on both insides of the case is too far from the cork making it difficult to keep the cleats in the cork. I understand why this is the case because if it were too close to the cork the earrings probably wouldn't be able to penetrate easily. That being said, there's still plenty of hanger hanging space on both doors, so it would be nice to have at least a section of the wire mesh that's better suited for rivets. I was able to push the studs in - this worked best with the smallest backs of the earrings because they could slip behind the wire mesh. So it's not impossible, just not very practical for everyday use. Other than that, the rest of the closet is actually incredibly cute. The barn doors are a nice touch (although you can see some of the backs of the earrings through gaps in the wood). I like ring holders and small shelves. I've found what I don't like about many other jewelry cabinets available is that they force you to use the space for its intended purpose by filling the cabinet with hooks, ring inserts, etc., but it's really nice to just close it do have some free space. Space for small accessories. Personally, I was looking for a jewelry cabinet that could basically just store earrings, which is why I loved it. . Both were too much for me. I was grateful that the two bracelet bar hangers that were meant to be attached to the underside of the cabinet weren't already screwed on when they arrived, so I didn't have to worry about taking them off and leaving marks on the underside of the wood.

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
