Review on Enhanced Outdoor Version of RADEX RD1503 Dosimeter: Unlimited Particle Detection by Ron Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

i really like it This is my second Radex product (also .

I really like it. Radioactive incident. I've had great results and reliability with my RD 1212 so buying another Radex product wasn't a gamble for me. RD 1503 Similar to my RD1212 in that both read current values in µS/h as their main function. The differences are that the 1503 also has a dosimeter function which I really like. Also the 1503 has the ability to read mR/h oh, then I didn't know when I bought it and it was a pleasant surprise. At the same time, the readings differ only by 0.02 +/- 0.01. I would rather buy RD 1503+ if I was going just for that of Dosimeters.By the way, if you ever want to test your device, just put your device next to a piece of green uranium glass so you know it will detect radiation without buying a radioactive isotope. You can go to any antique store to do this or see if family/friends have the item.

Pros
  • Radiation Protection Accessory
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
